What in the World are You Doing? Clarifying Your Church's Purpose

The church is both an organization and organism. In this introductory workshop, participants will develop a more coherent and compelling narrative about the purpose of their church based on its vision, mission, and core values.

Ditch, Deal, and Delegate: Driving Productivity and Accountability in Your Church

Using ditch, deal, and delegate strategies improve church operations. Workshop participants will learn how to 1) ask the right questions when learning about a task, 2) provide appropriate answers when asked to perform a task, and 3) consider aptitude before asking someone to perform a task.

Foundations for Developing an Effective Church Leadership Pipeline

A church pipeline is a clear and realistic process for church leaders to identify, train, mentor, and promote aspiring paid or volunteer church leaders.  Workshop participants will learn how principles involving Self-Care, Succession, and Service Plans help ensure the long-term success and growth of the church.

Specialized Workshops

Restorative Practices: Establishing Community, Addressing Church Hurt, and Restoring Relationships

Restorative Practices is the science of building and maintaining relationships and community while also restoring them when harm occurs.  This harm can be physical, emotional, and--for churches--spiritual.

In this comprehensive workshop, participants learn how to address the Compass of Shame and how to use Restorative Circles and Affective Statements to help transform church and community relationships.

Stop Wearing Every Hat: The Small Church Leadership Pipeline Blueprint

Many small churches operate in a continuous state of triage. Driven by a scarcity mindset, pastors and church leaders frequently wear too many hands, treat burnout as a badge of spiritual honor, and recruit volunteers using vague pleas.

In this intensive workshop, attendees will engage in courageous discussions and hands-on activities and develop three foundational ministry plans to help their churches transition from survival mode to systemic health.
